Joe was born in the mountains of Bluefield West Virginia, but was raised under the neon lights of Nashville Tennessee. A Nashville native since 1974, Joe has spent nearly all his life in the Nashville area. He graduated from Mount Juliet High School, earned his bachelor’s degree at Cumberland University in Lebanon TN, and his master’s degree in business (M.B.A) from Belmont University in Nashville. He began his career in mortgage in January of 1996, after a longtime career with UPS. Joe enjoys hiking and bike riding in his free time as well as spending time in the mountains of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Expertise: My two main specialties are relationship building and problem solving. Building great relationships is a key to being successful in the mortgage industry. Building trust with clients, coworkers, real estate agents, appraisers, and attorneys takes time. Along the way, you have to be able to solve a lot of problems too. No one person’s situation is the same as the next. I try to take the time to get to know each of my clients and find out what’s the most important aspect of the transaction to them. I offer my clients some of the best financing terms available, as well as over 20 years experience financing homes.
